Physician Assistants

Physicians Assistants are healthcare extenders for your Orthopaedic Surgeon. Our practice uses PAs to assist our Orthopaedic surgeons in surgery. They also round on the inpatients, gather information on orthopaedic patients in the ER, and assist in the preparation of a patient for a surgical procedure. The Physicians Assistant note your condition in your hospital chart and speak several times a day with your surgeon about your status. The PA will be happy to answer any questions you or your family may have during your hospital stay.

If you are having a procedure, you may see the smiling faces of our Physicians Assistants at the hospital before and after surgery. Rob Dawson PA-C works mostly at Thomas Hospital and Lindsday Manning Brown PA-C works mostly at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center.
